Welcome to the website of the research laboratory "Nursing Rehabilitation of the Chronically Ill".

The laboratory was founded in 2015 with the following mission:

1.      Conducting basic and applied research on the subjects areas described below:


• Investigating the needs as well the knowledge and skills of chronically ill in relation to their self-care.

• Investigating knowledge, skills and burden of family and professional caregivers of chronically ill patients.

• The investigation of effective assessment tools and methods in the management of chronic health problems.

• Investigating the needs of the community as regards to the care of the chronically ill as well as the deficits in care provided by state and private institutions.

• Investigating the knowledge of undergraduate and postgraduate students on the management of rehabilitation of chronic disease.

 

2.      Covering teaching and research needs at undergraduate and postgraduate level on the activity subjects of the Laboratory as defined in paragraph 1.

 

3.      Any type of cooperation with research centers and national or foreign academic institutions provided that their scientific goals coincide and are complementary to those of the Laboratory.

 

4. Cooperation:


a) with public sector institutions, local authorities, scientific and social institutions as well as international organizations,


b) with private sector institutions, laboratories and industries in the context of recording studies to promote research or proposals on issues that coincide with the research interests of the Laboratory as defined in paragraph 1 above.

 

5. The provision of services which comply with the academic ethos of subjects as

defined in paragraph 1 above.

 

6. The organization of scientific conferences, workshops, seminars, symposia and

other scientific events, producing publications and presentations and inviting Greek and international prominent scientists.
